Welcome to The Barony Bar
A must-see restoration of an Edinburgh institution, the art-deco inspired Barony first opened as a drinks merchant in 1896 before becoming a pub and it has been a staple of the Edinburgh food & drink scene ever since.
From nips and drams, to real ale and a great glass of wine, The Barony is a well-loved and well-known watering hole and gastro-pub for locals and visitors alike..
One of Edinburgh's Finest
Original Victorian charm is richly brought to life in this gleaming, mahogany taproom. Brewery mirrors, high-vaulted ceilings, open fires and hand-painted 19th century tiles are amongst the architectural delights to be found.
